Stillwell Strategies, LLC was founded in November 2017 by Alexa Stillwell. Over the past 18 years, Stillwell has worked in the association world, including the South Carolina and Columbia Chambers of Commerce.

Specializing in marketing, branding, events and business development, Stillwell Strategies provides custom business solutions for every organization.

Alexa Stillwell: I don’t work for one business, I work for every business.

Beginning as an event planner, Stillwell could see early on how every piece of an organization ties together. Whether it’s an event, marketing piece or a member/client, they all morph together to create the mission of the organization. You can’t have an event without marketing, you can’t market without members/clients, and you can’t have members/clients without a unified message.

She founded Stillwell Strategies because she is a problem solver. “I like taking a 1,000 piece puzzle and putting it together to reach a common goal. Many organizations today are doing more work with less people, and I can help to create a strategy to utilize their time and resources well.”

Stillwell brings more than a decade of experience in project management that includes event design, marketing, graphic design, maintaining multiple budgets, website updates and meeting daily deadlines in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

After completing a four-year program in organization management, Stillwell obtained her IOM from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in 2016. That June, she was awarded the South Carolina Society of Association Executives’ prestigious Executive of the Year award.

Stillwell obtained her BS in Sports and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina, with a minor in Business
